I am happy to share my positive experience with Olga. She showed excellent market knowledge, good communication and negotiating skills, I was able to find the property I wanted to and sign a lease on terms that satisfy me completely.
Olga was a fabulous help to me. She worked with me in a cold snowing January browsing all this apartments in midtown for 3 hours back and forth with helpful advice, income etc. She made it all very easy, warm and cosy. Appeared to be one you could trust.
The most important thing in renting is the paper work which Olga has again been very professional. All went smooth and quick.
We recently went apartment hunting in the East Village. Alexander did a great job showing us tons of places. He was friendly, helpful and patient with us. We never felt pushed into anything. He knows his job. He''s honest. In a city like NY, those are two valuable assets.
Israel was amazing to work with. He really went over and beyond what is expected of a broker. We were extremely impressed with his work ethic, professionalism and knowledge of the NYC real estate market. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a broker. He was extremely responsive and able to think outside the box. He was also genuine and trustworthy - which is not always the case with brokers.
Andi made our entire apartment hunting process super easy. We had been bait-and-switched by brokers a few times, but Alpha Properties completely alleviated any worries we had about the tough NYC real estate market. We actually applied for our apartment with CitiHabitats, paid the fee, and then were told the unit was rented to someone else at the last minute. We later met with Andi, who informed us the same unit was still on the market, and after checking with the landlord, told us that they had never received our application the first time we applied with Citi. We then ran down to her office, put in the app, and got everything taken care of very quickly. She was helpful, personable, and very professional. She knows the UES market really well; I''d definitely recommend her.
My roommates and I had a great experience at Alpha. Our broker Andi made the process easy and fun...as stress free as it gets for NYC! If you are moving go with Alpha.
Linda and I want to express our gratitude and thanks to Gilad and Alpha for the extraordinary and conscientious effort you've made in renting our apartments. New York and Long Island, Gilad stands out as unquestionably the best broker we've worked with in 25 years in New York and Long Island.
At my wit''s end. That''s where I was when I found an ad on yet another apartment finder site, for yet another "spacious one-bedroom" in the right neighborhood, at the right price that was... and here''s the biggest factor... PET FRIENDLY. I''d already been turned down by a couple of brokers who wouldn''t even work with me as I searched for a no-fee apartment that would accommodate me and my 100lb Akita. Apparently Akitas are considered aggressive breeds in NY...so even when I found apartments that allowed dogs over 50lbs...chances are they STILL wouldn''t allow my dog.
So anyway, I sent an email in response to the ad and heard back from Chris Corigliano from Alpha within the hour. Turns out that specific apt didn''t allow dogs over 25lbs (which, let''s face it...under 25lbs isn''t really even a dog)...BUT...he said I''ll find you something. He took me on...he didn''t laugh at my meager budget (which would be a good mortgage in some towns...but in New York doesn''t seem to get much more than a cardboard box ...but under a GOOD bridge). He didn''t think I was crazy to want a full size kitchen and a bedroom that ACTUALLY would fit a BED! He didn''t say, I can''t help you when he found out about the size of my dog. He said...don''t worry...we''ll find something.
And after a difficult search...with him even sending me leads while I was traveling out of the country for work...and looking at tons of apartments... and getting more rejections based on my dog... we finally found something. FINALLY. A proper one bedroom. He negotiated the rent down to fit in my budget and got me the move in date that I wanted (pro-rated for the month...which seems to be an issue w/a lot of the buildings these days). He was calm, he was patient and now my dog and I can remain together in a lovely apartment, in a convenient location (3 stops to my job!!).
Oh...and to top it off, when I moved in...waiting for me was the gift of a little tin of olive oil from his family''s farm in Italy. Seriously? So, would I recommend Alpha, absolutely. Chris C. ... a pure class act.
The only downside was that I did end up paying a fee (although it was well below the standard broker fee rates in NYC).
And for the record... as a public service announcement: I have met more aggressive Chihuahuas than aggressive akitas. It''s all about training and socialization. (Just had to get that off my chest).
My roommate and I worked exclusively with Mike Chang. We were very pleased with our experience. Many NYC real estate brokers are short and dismissive. Mike was always a pleasant person to work with. He was very helpful and answered almost all questions we had. He was very responsive and accommodating throughout the whole process. In the end, we owe the successful application for our current apartment to him. I would definitely recommend him to a friend. Thanks Mike!
Danny Goldshtein is an extremely helpful and patient real estate agent. My roommate and I had specific needs and took over a month to finally find an apartment. Danny spent more than any other agent we talked to would even consider. If you need a place, he is the agent for the job!
I also wanted to tell you how grateful I am for your help in our apartment search these past couple months. You really went above and beyond for us, and I so appreciate your constant communication and dedication to finding us the best apt.
You always made time for us, and were so on top of being flexible around our changing schedules, and organizing many visits to numerous apartments.
We are thrilled with our new home!
I am referring one of my friends to you,I know you will be a wonderful resource for them.
