My roommate and I both moved from our homes in New Jersey back in May. We tried a different brokerage firm before finding Alpha. Andi responded to our request immediately and was ready to get started right away. Because we were first-time renters and fairly new to NYC, we tried our best to prepare ourselves with questions and concerns, while hoping not to be taken advantage of. Andi respected our requests and budget restrictions, and also did an excellent job of showing us apartments in the areas we had designated. All apartments we saw fit the descriptions we had provided. Andi never tried to convince us to pay higher than we could, and was very straightforward with the policies and procedures of Alpha. She was very quick to respond to our calls and emails at any hour, and very patient with the many questions we had. During lease signing, she made certain that we had the chance to read the entire contract over, agree to it, and ask questions. She also made it a point to have us in the office in person so that she could clarify the riders and make sure that we knew how to communicate with the management company and landlord. I would definitely work with Andi again and have already recommended Alpha and Andi to some friends interested in moving in the near future.
It was a pleasure doing business with Alpha. We found our apartment on the Upper East Side through them, and we signed the lease days later. Great for finding a place right away if you are in a time crunch like I was, and great for finding places that are not even on the market. Fee of 12% was fare. We love our apartment!
I recently transitioned from LA to NYC for a job opportunity. I wanted to be close to work on the Upper West Side. My family mentioned I needed a broker since I was also moving my family and needed the space. I found Israel the VP from Alpha Properties on craigslist but was sceptical dealing with him since I was remote from LA. He knows the Upper West Side pretty well and since I was very particular about things, Israel knew where to look at. I had my brother-in-law meet up with him and Israel was very accomodating. My brother-in-law knew my taste and after viewing 3 buildings, Israel found an apartment with all the amenities I asked for and is only a 1 1/2 block walk to work. Even though we ran through some hurdles with the management company (not his fault), that didn''t stop him from reassuring me that the we have the lease. During the month we communicated remotely prior to signing the lease, he was very responsive even past 9pm ET (6PM PT), never rushed me to signing a lease, and had an overall great attitude even when I was running late. I had a backup broker on standby but never needed him since Israel never wasted my time when I was shopping for an apartment. Thank you Israel for such a pleasant experience.
My roomie and I had been tirelessly searching for an apartment for the month of October (due to some nightmarish roommate situations- but that''s another story) before recently signing a lease and moving into a really great apartment in the Upper East Side. Our agent, Andi Antonucci, was more than helpful in helping us find a home that was within our budget as well as within our preferences. She was always very prompt and polite in replying to emails, texts, and phonecalls and was very diligent throughout the entire process (all of which occurred in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy! She even met up with us to show us an apartment (which we now call home) late in the evening when both my roomie and I were both free to see it together.
The majority of agents my roommate and I had interacted with before coming to Alpha and to Andi, were your stereotypical realty slimeballs who probably didn''t care much for helping you find an actual home, but rather were more concerned with the numbers game, making a profit, and moving onto the next "client". Seriously- some of these guys will lie through their teeth and say anything to make the sell. I could see right through their bullshit.
So thank you Andi and Alpha Properties, thank you for being so sweet and professional, thank you for helping us find a place we can really call home, and thank you for being a HUMAN. Other agents- please take note.
She waived our application fee!
When last june I arrived in NYC from Paris, I was looking for a 2BR
apartment in Upper East Side, Manhattan. Prior to my coming, I have
been in touch with Tal Nissim at Alpha Properties NYC and Tal
organized several visits for me and eventually found for my family
a very nice flat. This has been an excellent experience: Tal was
highly professional, very reactive and reliable, and extremely
helpful considering that I was a complete newcomer, ignoring most
of the rules to rent an apartment in NYC. It has been a great pleasure
to work with Tal, not only when visiting apartments or doing
paperwork to apply for the lease but also during the negotiation
phasis. Considering the small amount of time I had to find an
apartment, Tal and Alpha Properties NYC provided all the support I
needed to find the right place to stay. I consider myself as a lucky
person to have met such a great broker! I recommend Tal Nissim without
any reserve to anyone searching for a flat in New York.
I had a nice experience with Alpha Properties recently. We had limited budget but we got a very good apt through Alpha. The agent, Jacob Cohen, is friendly and patient. He showed us 7+ apts on the first day. And we were interested in 2 of them. And we had need credit guarantor when we were signing the lease. Jacob also helped us a lot with that. Great thanks to Jacob and Alpha!
It was a real pleasure working with Gilad on my daughters apartment search. He was very helpful, reliable and professional. His team was able to complete the lease process very expeditiously and easily.I will definitely refer other clients to him in the near future.
I also wanted to tell you how grateful I am for your help in our apartment search these past couple months. You really went above and beyond for us, and I so appreciate your constant communication and dedication to finding us the best apt.
You always made time for us, and were so on top of being flexible around our changing schedules, and organizing many visits to numerous apartments.
We are thrilled with our new home!
I am referring one of my friends to you,I know you will be a wonderful resource for them.
Who ever said finding an apartment in NYC was a painful experience? Andi Antonucci at Alpha Properties made this one of the easiest experiences since I first moved to the city years ago. I sincerely appreciate the customer service she exemplified in every aspect of the process. From being on time, to listening to our picky needs, the entire Alpha team made my life easier.
Without a doubt when considering your next move call Andi Antonucci
I was looking for an apartment in last December. When everyone in the world was enjoying Christmas spirit, I was getting frustrated with finding a place. There were so many misleading and fraudulent postings, my budget was a bit tight, and I have a dog. Then I finally met Mike Chang! He literally emailed me back in 5 minutes after I contacted him. He sent me a list of questions asking if I meet all qualifications. When I said yes, he immediately set up a tour on the very same night. He showed me three apartments in a safe and great neighborhood with perfect subway lines. After the tour, we started preparing all necessary paperwork and my application was pre-approved in less than 2 days. Mike was constantly contacting the management company and worked so hard to expedite the whole process. I had to be out of town for few days during the application process, but I had no problem communicating with him. He answered all my questions with patience and made sure I was clear on everything. After a week or so, I signed the lease. I love my apartment and greatly appreciate for what he did for me. I really think this was the best deal and Mike worked his magic. Not only he is professional and smart, he was very sweet for sending me a card after I officially moved in :)
